Privacy
Pool Pump Size Calculator publishes this website. Use contact and corrections for privacy enquiries. This policy describes the site's calculators, sponsored links and guarded contact form.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run in the browser. The calculator code does not send water dimensions, temperatures, equipment records or quote amounts to a calculation server. A local JSON download is created on your device. Printing uses your browser's print or PDF function.
Inputs remain in the open page while you work. Selecting the optional save control stores that tool's inputs in this browser's local storage. Clear saved data removes that tool's saved record. Reset clears the open form; if saving remains selected, the reset state replaces the saved inputs. Shared-device users should clear saved data after use.
The volume-transfer action uses this tab's session storage to pass the calculated volume to another tool. It is read on the destination page and removed from that transfer slot. Browser storage can be blocked by your settings; the tool reports when saving or transfer is unavailable.
Contact messages
The contact form sends your name, reply email, subject and message to this site. The hosting service supplies a country code and uses the request IP for a temporary spam rate limit. Accepted messages enter a delivery queue for the site operator. Queue entries expire after 90 days; delivery may remove them sooner.
The form uses a signed timing token and spam checks. It does not subscribe you to marketing.
The queue expiry is not a promise about mailbox retention after delivery. Do not send credentials, payment information, a pool address or private equipment serial numbers. Use a page path and non-sensitive inputs to describe a calculation issue.
Analytics, consent and search
The current site configuration contains no Google Analytics measurement ID. Its shared consent script therefore does not load a Google Analytics tag. The script can request country/region information from the site's own endpoint to choose consent controls. When a consent choice is recorded, it uses browser storage. Global Privacy Control is checked by that shared script.
Site search uses a local static Pagefind index. Search terms are used by the browser to find the site's pages.
Sponsored links and click measurement
This site includes sponsored Amazon purchase links. Clicking a sponsored link sends a first-party measurement request to this site's /api/click endpoint. It contains the offer identifier (offer) and the page path where you clicked (from). If the landing URL includes utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign or utm_content campaign labels, the click script keeps those labels in this tab's sessionStorage and includes them with later sponsored-link clicks during that tab session.
The site's Worker logs valid click events with those fields, a country code supplied by the host (or XX when unavailable) and a timestamp. This click measurement uses no cookies and runs independently of the Google Analytics consent choice. It does not include calculator inputs or saved tool records. Following an Amazon link also sends you to Amazon, where Amazon's privacy terms apply. See the affiliate disclosure for the commercial relationship.
Hosting and external sources
Requests to a hosted site disclose network information to its hosting provider. Following a cited manufacturer or government link opens that provider's site and its own privacy terms. This policy does not promise that external sites use no cookies or retain no logs.
There is no newsletter or email-marketing signup on this site. A correction message does not subscribe you to one. The disclosure page states the current commercial-link position.
Your choices
Clear optional saved tool records with the tool's control or your browser's site-data settings. Use the contact form for access, correction or deletion enquiries about information you submitted. Identify the enquiry without resending sensitive data. Available rights depend on the law that applies to you.
Updates
This policy must be revisited when collection, providers or measurement settings change. The check date identifies this version of the policy; it is not a claim about an external provider's retention period. See about this site for the calculation method and editorial boundaries.
